The ENGINE-HUB of Lead Beneficiary, TEE-TKM, was established in July of 2022 in the first floor of the building of TEE/TKM (Τechnical Chamber of Greece/ Section of Central Macedonia) in Avenue Megalou Alexandrou 49, in Thessaloniki, Greece.
🎯 The main scope of establishment of the hub is to provide assistant to the new entrepreneurs, engineers and also other relevant scientists familiar with circular economy, for the implementation of their business plans and the development of these plans, so that the new enterprises can be operative before project’s ending or 2 years after. Τhe Engine Hub was created in order to provide knowledge, training, mentoring/coaching and networking to the participants of the program, who are engineers and also other relevant scientists familiar with circular economy, who live in Thessaloniki, Serres, Kavala and Drama. The Engine Hub in TEE/TKM, but also all the HUBs (4), are designed to provide motivation, trainings, counseling, hospitality space and other related support for emerging young entrepreneurs while it is going to link the new enterprises with the market. Information and motivation campaign towards young engineers in order to participate in the project is included in the implementation of the project. Information on the principles of the circular economy concept and guidelines on how to develop a business plan is provided to young engineers in order to be prepared and participate in the competition for new “circular business” ideas.
For the establishment and the needs of Engine Hub, electronic and furniture equipment has been purchased and installed. The electronic equipment regarding the establishment of ENGINE-HUB in TEE/TKM includes pcs, labtops , monitor, printers and consumable material. The furniture equipment includes meeting table and office chairs.
